Christmas 2024 Waste and Recycling Service

We are scheduling our collection services over the Christmas 2024 Holiday period to ensure that we can meet your needs. Below is a calendar which details our schedule. If you are closed and do not require collections, please let us know by Wednesday 11th December 2024 by email to transport@clearaway.uk.com, as this will avoid us turning up to collect and you incurring collection charges.  If you require additional or rescheduled collections please do not hesitate to contact the transport team at transport@clearaway.uk.com and we will do all that we can.

1. Our Christmas collection schedule is detailed below.
2. Excess Waste – if you have previously advised Clearaway not to collect Extra Waste we will not do so over the festive period unless confirmed in advance by email to transport@clearaway.uk.com.

Service Amendments during the 2024 Christmas Holiday period

Bank Holiday Wednesday 25th December 2024
Bank Holiday Thursday 26th December 2024
Bank Holiday Wednesday 1st January 2025

1. Trade Wheelie Bin Scheduled Collections:

• Normal collections up to and including Tuesday 24th December 2024.
• No Collections On Wednesday 25th December 2024.
• Collections scheduled for Wednesday 25th Dec 2024 will be collected on either Thursday 26th or Friday 27th Dec 2024.
• Collections scheduled for Thursday 26th Dec 2024 will be collected on either that Day or on Friday 27th Dec 2024.
• Collections scheduled for Friday 27th Dec 2024 will be collected on either that Day or on Saturday 28th Dec 2024.
• Normal collections on Monday 30th & Tuesday 31st Dec 2025.
• No Collections On Wednesday 1st January 2025.
• Collections scheduled for Wednesday 1st Jan 2025 will be collected on either Thursday 2nd or Friday 3rd Jan 2025.
• Collections scheduled for Thursday 2nd Jan 2025 will be collected on either that Day or on Friday 3rd Jan 2025.
• Collections scheduled for Friday 3rd Jan 2025 will be collected on either that Day or on Saturday 4th Jan 2025.
• Normal Collections resume from Monday 6th Jan 2025.

2. REL Scheduled Collections:

• Note REL Collections follow the Same Festive Service Schedule As Wheelie Bins
  Above.

3. RoRo Scheduled Collections:

• Normal collections up to and including Tuesday 24th Dec 2024.
• There will be no collections from Wednesday 25th Dec 2024 to Thursday 2nd Jan 2025, unless specifically requested by the customer.
• Normal collections resume from Thursday 2nd Jan 2025

4. Adhoc Deliveries and Collections:

• Normal Collections & Deliveries up to and including Friday 20th Dec 2024.
• Thereafter, our BoxVan will not be running over the festive season.
• So there will be NO Collections or Deliveries From Monday 23rd Dec 2024 to Friday 3rd Jan 2025.
• Normal Collections & Deliveries resume from Monday 6th Jan 2025 onwards.
